This gemstone bling pencil cup will make a nice desk accessory for home, work or school!
These hand made pencil cups are upcycled with various paints, scrapbook paper, lace and ribbon, dye cuts, washi tape, or whatever I have on hand. Each one is unique!
In addition to the pencil cup, you will also receive an assortment of 12 washi tape pencils. The pencil patterns may vary from pictures, as I use whichever washi tapes I have available to me and I'm always buying new washi. But no matter which washi tape pencils you get, you will be assured that each one is very pretty and colorful, and look great with the upcycled pencil cup!
The pencils are able to be sharpened as normal, as the tape is very thin. Simply peel off any torn bits after sharpening and smooth it back down. You can also peel back the paper a little bit before sharpening, if you'd rather not sharpen it with the paper intact. I use a hand held pencil sharpener and haven't had any problems, but since the washi is very thin, you can easily tear or peel the paper back from the end of the pencil before sharpening.
